• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plumber in planned and reactive maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the operational functionality and safety of our rental properties. This role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with tenants and property management to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues as they arise.
• Ensure timely response to maintenance requests from tenants.
• Identify areas needing improvement or repair.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and safety checks.
• Communicate effectively with tenants regarding maintenance schedules, repairs, and any disruptions to services.

The main aspect of the work is related to road tunnel infrastructure, working on up to 12 road tunnels in and around London and the South of England. Tunnel closures are carried out on weeknights and weekend nights so the successful applicant must be willing to adapt to these types of working hours, with a minimum of 5 nights per month required. Overtime is available and excellent rates of pay are offered with uplift for night and weekend works.

Experience of working in similar environments of transport infrastructure is preferred, so experience of working for TFL, Crossrail etc would be beneficial.
